Is is just me that hate this 12 hour system(AM/PM)? Why not simply 0.00-24.00?

No, I like it. It's much more logical.

i do prefer the 24 hour system, just a lot easier to understand and more powerful, instead adding the am/pm notation everytime.

how is it more logical? i think 0-24 is more logical, but the 12 hour clock too ingrained in popular thought to change. that said, i personally don't care much at all.. i can handle an AM or a PM if i need to.

Well, if someone says that we'll meet at three, I look at my watch and see three, instead of 15

it's all about context.. i can honestly say that i've never been at a loss to know if a person means am or pm when they say something like "ok, we'll meet here at 8 :00 then".

Yeah 12 hour clock is better. 24 hour clock is just annoying whats the point in it? Judging that people say ill meet you at 8 then! etc... just like what you other guys said

Most of the world has already changed to 24-hour system. It's only USA and some parts of Europe that linger on. But of course, when you speak, you say like 5 o'clock, but when you wright it, I want it to be 17.00.

I hate having to ask whether it's am or pm, and I hate 24 hour time cause I have to count it on my fingers. Time sucks.

I prefer the AM/PM form of time.. I'm not accustomed to the 24 hour way, so it's not as natural and I have to think about it for a second or so

you guys...are using your fingers to count the 24 hour system.....

i'm in shock..it's not even hard to learn. my neighbour's kids can learn it, and they're 4 and 7 years old...

I don't have to use my fingers, I just have to think of it as "16 hundred hours - 12 = 4PM"

I know it's odd, but meh.. it's the way my mind works
