Hello,

I'm lookin for animations of anything in half life similar to the strider here:

any one know how I can find something like that, any animated 3d renders or movies?

looks like who ever did that probably just made it him self..

well... that strider is animted with a "mesh" under flash or illustrator; its not a model.. its a manipulated .png image

I'm not familiar with that "mesh" can you explain a bit more. I have a very good knowledge of photoshop and flash and an ok one of illustrator...

Its just an image of the strider that was cut into bits and then glued back together and animated by moving those pieces...kinda like those people silhouettes with little rivets that hold the arms and legs on so that you can turn and move them...
