Another "I'm stuck" Thread

Alright, so I'm in chapter 12, and I'm trying to get into the Nexus Building (the one with the "suppression device" on the roof) with Barney and company, but I can't figure out how. I can't get by those blue hologram gate things.

There is a door on one of the walls that you need to go into. I think it's down the other end from where you enter. It's a little hard to find, but it is there.

As for the suppression device, just run through to the door as fast as you can. Ignore your squad mates as they get constantly replenished and Barney is immortal.

Just follow the various doors. Once you get up to the buiding itself there is a door protected by a force field which you can turn off. Won't be more specific than that

Face the building, and look to the right hand corner of it. You should see a force-field between the edge of the building and the wall next to it. Make your way to it, and then use the gravity gun to pull the plug from the socket.There should be a door around there somewhere that lets you in.

Stuck in the Nexus building

Im stuck in the nexus building. I came at the part where my weapons are taken and I only have the gravitygun. Then i walked and killed some enemies and then im stuck where i can see a beam with some kinda field around it , but i cant reach that room cuz theres a little gate, i cant jump either..

Try grabing some of those energy balls with the gravity gun. I know that opens one of the gates. Just not sure if it's at where your stuck.

Sorry i didnt mean gate but i meant a little fence, there are some force fields but i see no way to deactivate them. So am in front of a little fence and i see a room with a white beam and a field around it. Cant enter the room cuz of the lil fence.. I can throw stuff in the beam like bodies and computers with the grav gun but then those items dissapear and the beam seems to react on it but after 20 secs or so it goes back to normal. If i walk back i can jump from that level to like 6 stages down only to drop dead.. so im really stuck

Im stuck in the part where you get the empowered gravity gun, i can kill some people a bit further but then im stuck..

You said you can't jump? That's a bug, reload a save game.

As for the force fields use the gravity gun on the generators (the bouncing ball things) there is a seperate generator for the force field than the ones with an infinite supply of "balls." Also, from the larger rooms there are often two different paths to take, both are often blocked by the force fields but only one of the two force fields can be taken down.

No no,Its not a bug, I cant jump because of somekind of field. I mean the part where they take all your weapons except the grav. gun. If you walk ahead you must kill some soldiers with the grav gun. You cant jump in this area because of some magnetic field, you also hear a computer voice saying: ''magnetic field activated'', or something. Then I come at a monitor where the grey old guy tries to convince you to join his side. He says: There really is no job for a rogue scientist, or a road scientist or whatever.

Then I walk to a little fence which you normally can jump over, and see a room with a beam and a field around it. It looks like the beams earlier in the building with the white energy balls in it , but this one is bigger and does not have energy balls in it. There are 3 or 4 force field in the area but i see no way to deactivate them..I added a picture of the part where im stuck
