Another new weapon

I saw this guy in another thread say that there was this machinegun that the rebels use agains the Strider in the E3 vid. Here's a pic of it. To me it looks like some kinda HMG, or m60.

I don't really know what to make of it. I know that it hasn't been revealed previously.

No, that isn't the IR rifle, because when you see it firing against the striders, it fires a larger bullet then the MP7 does, almost like the striders own machine gun.

it looks like the I-rifle's icon in the weapons menu....but in the vid it looks like it's shooting the striders machine gun fire.

I actually think the I-rifle is a handheld(or a littlebrother) version of the strider gun(although it doesn't make the targeting beam)...secondary and primary fire, switches between those HMG rounds and the vaporizer shot.

another funky thing I've noticed is that the I-rifle got a semi-homing shot, it jumps from the first target to the next...I wonder how many times it can jump like that.
look at the coastline vid when gordon is fighting in the attic, if you want to see this...it's pretty cool, you have to see it frame by frame to notice. that's why he twice kills two combine soldiers with one shot.

yeah I noticed that, but it would be extremely cheap, since its a one hitter quitter, if it rebounded in a squad of say 5 guys close together.

The "IRifle" was first seen in the Tunnels bink.

This is the incendiary rifle. Although recent evidence shows that it may not even fire incendiary rounds any more, but nothing's confirmed.

Yeah, but we haven't even seen a screen of the I rifle from third person, how can you say that that is it? Also, when the resistance fighers shoot with it, it shoots like a machine gun. I DO NOT think that that's the I rifle.
