Ok guys, i am happy to report that i got a new sound card and HL2 and CS:S are working great in 5.1 surround sound for me. However i now have a problem with a game called UT2004. Everything worx great for me if I have the Software or 3Daudio but as i have surround speakers i want to use the H/W 3D + EAX audio option but whenever I click on it the music goes off but everything else worx. Even the sound effects work but text to speech also goes off. My soundcard is a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value and I am sure I have the most up2date drivers as well. Any help would be appreciated.
