Any reason to reinstall HL2 yet?

I'm not being snotty or anything. I played the game & enjoyed it. But have yet to see any of these expansions they had talked about.

Is there anything out yet to justify reinstalling Half-Life 2 yet? Any new episodes or expansions? Is the new SiN actually out yet? Is there any actual game play in the Lost Coast thingie, or is it just a graphics demo?

Half life 2:episode 1 (the expansion-type thing) is coming out on june 1st, SiN Episode one is available on steam now, and lost coast is just pretty much showing off HDR.

Lost Coast is game play but like 20mins worth.

Episode 1 is coming out June it's not very big though.

SIN is out right now.

Nope, not really any major mods out yet thats worth the reinstallation of it, just wait for Episode 1 to be released

i reinstalled not too long ago so i can go through and beat it again right before episode 1 comes out, you should do that again

Considering you don't need HL2 installed to play Episode 1 anyway...
Half-life is probably the only game I have installed.

I would say there is nothing major, still, but a few things may be worth a try. There are a few fun, although short SP mods, such as Causality Effect or Combine Destiny. Neither are 10/10 quality, but have good elements. For MP, there's the Empires mod, a rather unusual mix of RTS and FPS.

Maybe it's worth reinstalling HL2 for another playthrough to prepare for Episode One, if you have the time and the desire. I like playing through games again just before sequels are out.
