anyone else get an email like this?

...well if it is, then people who click that link have it now...

lol... You have to be dumb or be a non techie newbie to fall for that!!!

strange how it got sent from a "Technology Know-How" website, must of been hacked or infected.

And the funniest thing would have been if you where running Linux :)

Its pretty neatly done though. Except that its very very very unlikely win 95/98 would be included in requirements.

I should have tried those links inside the message (All Products...Support...etc). I didn't think to do that, I just captured a screenie and then deleted it.

Yes i've been getting them for months from differnet addresses, But my firewalls and Virus Checkers always picks it up as a virus and deletes it

(Yay for PC-cillin 2002, Norton Network Edition and a hub [yay])

anywho, don't open it.....

Nope, any and all critical updates like that would be available through windows update. Besides I doubt Microsoft would be E-mailing anyone this garbage. Sad tho how many ppl are gonna fall for that, looks pretty legit...

Hmm, I got another one just like the original about an hour ago. Only difference was none of the images showed up, and the colors weren't working. It included a different .exe attachment (I forget the damn name now), and it was sent from a different mailing address.

I hate junk mail...
