Anyone help me fix my spray?

I've been at it for a good hour, I can't seem to get my HL2 spray's background to be invisible. I've attached the picture i'm working with.. Please help.

Ummm jpegs can't be invisible. No alpha channel.

You have to turn it into a .tga. 24 bits if I remember right.
