Just thought this was cool. The guys from www.3dbuzz.com have released a free training video on their site and on youtube (which i will link to). Its awesome because they take you from the very beginning (even downloading it) and they plan on getting you to a upper-intermediate ability in it. Its even more awesome because it is free for everyone, you dont even need to be a member to watch it (at least the first one is... you may need to register for free on their forums for the following ones).

At any rate... tis awesome. They make amazing training. If you check out their site they have like 200+ hours of all sorts of training (like 3D graphics, photoshop, video game modding, and hell, even math).

Man, Delphi's derived from Pascal, which is derived from SATAN!

hahah. Well they have a bunch of C++ training on their site also.

Ill try and keep up with their Delphi training, and if it is indeed a spawn of Satan... I shall cease my mingling with the dark lords babies.

EDIT: Hmm, it seems that they also are allowing non-members to watch their "Daily News" series with a youtube stream on their homepage. I havent watched it yet but if it is like last nights daily news, there may be 3dbuzz employees being paid extra to puke on video for our viewing pleasure :P. Hit up their website to see. Im downloading the episode now.

Hah, so far they have made fun of Sony for the PS3 overheating and their non-rumble controller, and they have made fun of DNF for never coming out :P

We're being taught it in college. D:

Mostly drag and drop with the only typing code being copying whatever he writes.

This has something to do with source editing?

I'm semi-intrested in delphi.
I like C++ becuase of it's power. Although I don't have a good resource editor to work with a GUI.
I like C# because I can make GUI applications so quickly. Throw in i'm working with MONO\dotGNU for cross-platform compatibility with one set of code. However I wish I could designate unmanaged variables that you could fully minipulate with pointers and etc..

I like C#'s Object Oriented style of coding.

C#.net ftw download free Visual C# @ microsoft.com best IDE in long time. Great easy accesseble stuff.

wish they had some of the more advanced lessons in C++ for free ;\

those money sucking bastards.

I hope you were kidding. They hardly make any money considering the quantity they put out.

ANYWAYS... HOLY CRAP. They posted a new video around 2.5 hours long where YOU ACTUALLY CODE A GAME. This is for absolute newbs too, so anyone can do it. 2.5 hours and its absolutely free.

Go to www.3dbuzz.com to watch the higher res one, and here for the Youtube video.
