Anyone Know the commands?

I found out the spawn commands but everything I spawn appears under me and freezes my position. Does anyone knowhowto spawn npcs nearby rather than inside you?

Why are you using the console? Garry's Mod has a GUI for spawning NPC's - and they appear at where you have your crosshair.
