are there new weapons, maps, characters after you beat HL2? Like Silent Hill kinda...

I keep hearing about a "manipulator", what is that? Also, I beat the game on Normal mode. Are there any new options, new weapons, secret maps, characters, etc?
You know how you beat silent hill and you get a chainsaw, etc etc... does HL2 have that?

manipulator=gravity gun..and no....unless holding manhacks with the grav gun and running into enemies counts as a chainsaw

I wasn't asking if HL2 had a chainsaw, lol. I was using SH's example of "secret weapons" upon beating the game. but you answerd it so thank you.

umm the manipulator is a beta weapon that aloud you to solder stuff together, and according to valve they are gonna release that gun in the sdk so expect a quick mod to use it in singe player.
