Okay, so I just installed 9800pro 128, dropped in another 512 ram so have 1 gig of pc2100 (not the best i know), and a 2 gHz processor (hence the extra ram). So, am I good to go for the next oh say, month or so?

And what is with all the bashing of valve and id?

Yes I'm a newb to forums but a gamer for past 18 years. Id looks to have a solid game on their hands with D3 and I am sure Valve will make us all giddy inside with the release of HL2. So lets kick back, game, and enjoy.

I don't subscribe to any particular company or platform for gaming. I think a gamer will play whatever game is great. (Givin the love to Ninja Gaiden for xbox).

So with all my pointless babbling, I am just catching up with some far-cry, purchasing D3 Friday and waiting for HL2. How bout the rest of ya?

Optimism. I love it. If anything this forum needs more of it!! Stop your iD and Valve bashing and whigning and look forward to the next few months where we will be able to enjoy, hopefully, 3 of the best and most exciting games of recent years.

Nah, I am completely optimistic that in the next several months I will be flat broke and have blood pouring from my eyes from spending too much time on comp with D3, HL2, Stalker, CoD add-on, Shellshock, etc.

It will be glorious!! I may even forget the names of my children.
