Hope the thread doesn't get rez sickness.

Who's gonna be protesting on the 10th of May?

In my honest opinion, Christians who believe in god are just as mad as people into Scientology, I don't see why it's so badly beat on.

I, like many people involved in this, don't give a rats ass about Xenu, the spaceships, the non-existent volcanoes, even though it adds some lulzy things to talk about.

What I do care about is that the church has gotten away with serious criminal actions for the past 50 years and that there comes a time where people need to say no more.

  • The master race mentality
  • The blatant homophobia which encourages the placement of gays and lesbians in prison camps to be "reeducated" and saying they are the lowest raking people possible in society
  • The coerced abortions
  • The deaths of so many people by not getting the medical care they need
  • Child labor
  • The covering up of child abuse and rape
  • The ruining of lives of critics, sometimes driving them to suicide
  • The blatant disregard for their parishioner's safety
  • The physical and verbal abuse by their asshole dwarf leader David Miscavidge
  • Brainwashing
  • Censorship
  • Eco-terrorism
  • False charges in court to try and get protesters imprisoned
  • Spreading lies about psychiatry, saying that 10% of therapists rape their patients and that they caused the Holocaust
  • Exploiting 9/11 victims
  • Exploiting Virginia Tech victims
  • The breaking up of families
  • They ****ed with /b/
  • They ****ed with youtube

This is why.

  • The blatant homophobia which encourages the placement of gays and lesbians in prison camps to be "reeducated" and saying they are the lowest raking people possible in society Gay people are cool.
  • The coerced abortions Kids are cool, abortion choice is cool.
  • The deaths of so many people by not getting the medical care they need Most people are better alive.
  • Child labor I like kids.
  • The covering up of child abuse and rape I like kids and sexual consent.
  • The ruining of lives of critics, sometimes driving them to suicide Critics are useful
  • The blatant disregard for their parishioner's safety Safety is good.
  • The physical and verbal abuse by their asshole dwarf leader David Miscavidge Abuse is bad.
  • Brainwashing Bad.
  • Censorship Bad.
  • Eco-terrorism Bad.
  • Spreading lies about psychiatry, saying that 10% of therapists rape their patients and that they caused the Holocaust Bad.
  • Exploiting 9/11 victims Bad.
  • Exploiting Virginia Tech victims Bad.
  • The breaking up of families I like families.
  • They ****ed with youtube I like youtube.
  • They ****ed with /b/ F*ck! I like /b/ too!

Agrood.

I wandered into a CoS protest Saturday. Friend and I were walking down the street and I heard the Haruhi theme. I figured maybe it was just wees or something 'cause we were getting close to Japantown, but then I saw the V masks.

I gave an anon a hug and did the Haruhi dance with them, then left. I'm not trying to be seen at a scientology roll. Not because of the Church, but because a real anon can't be hanging out at those things. Still, was interesting to come upon. Hadn't even known about it.

Wait you know the haruhi dance? :O

I am impressed darkside considering you hate anime you say

I don't hate anime. I enjoy quite a number of anime series. I hate wapanese people. Rather large difference. ;)

Truth be told, though, I don't even like that dance. I don't care for Haruhi the series, really.

Lucky Star dance on the other hand...

Oh right believe it or not I'm not wapanese :P

also I never really seen the en masse appeal of haruhi. It was a fun anime but hardly revolutionary but it does give 4chan something to do I suppose.

Every now and then something spreads around by word of mouth, and if enough people get into it they decide it's hot shit, even if it isn't. So great like the best thing ever, omigawd.

Which, interestingly enough, also describes scientology protests.
