I've heard before about how some audio can slow down some games? I'm not very clear on the issue, but here is my question. I own a Soundblaster Extigy external soundcard and most of the time I play my games with headphones checked as the sound option. My question is, if I change it to 5.1 speakers will my games slow down? I was playing CS:S earlier and tried this, and I'm not sure if I had any slow downs or not because some of the servers are laggy and etc. Hope you guys can clear this up for me. Thanks.
