Away for Vacation 30 days, my cat is at some cathome, worried

Im going away for 30 days to Venuzvela in South America as a vacation. I have a cat, like 2 years old, and we have no one to take care of her. So our only option was to leave her at some cat home for 30 days and then pick her up. I left her there today and i feel really bad, i cant stop thinking of her. I never thought i would get this emotional about an animal, but i dont know, its just something that worries me.

My cat like to explore, we live in a apartment so the only area to explore is the roof (we live at the top floor) so through the balcony she can access the roof. Up there she watches all kinds of stuff. When i went to that cat home, the room was like 1.5 meters long and 1 meter wide...and shes going to be locked in there for 30 long days all by herself But i positioned her at the cage nearest to the window so she could see outside and kinda explore which she loves to do.

Has anyone done this before? Should i be worry or am i just over reacting? Will she forget about me?

She was so scared, she screamed the whole way in the car, and she was all quiet and just layed down so so so so small in her little basket i gave her...just staring. She didnt even look at me, and she took like 20 breaths in 2 seconds.


Gahh i feel like i wanna puke, never thought i would come this close to an animal...shouldv never bought her, but she looked so cuuuteee in that little cage underneith all the other cats molesting her, i just had to save her.

But she won't jorget about you. Cats just don't sudden transitions like that. When you get back, she'll be freaking out in the car again, and freak out for a few after you get home, but she'll calm down.

That's what happened when we left our cats at a cathome. My mom was mad, I was happy.
