Battery with 10 year lifespan can be charged in 5 minutes

wait the battery charge last 10 years???

or is that just how long the battery can function?

im guessing its my 2nd guess haha, but i can see that there might be confusion with it.

10 years or 3,000 charges is pretty good for a battery.

Ah, I believe it's the entire lifespan of the battery, not the life of the charge, which was my initial assumption.

What kind of wattage would you need to charge up a bank of these for your car in 5 min? I dunno if a household power grid could handle it?

That's almost awesome.

Now go and develop something useful.

Neat.

I studied electronics, but am unsure how "good" 4.2aH is. 4.2 amps is pretty high, so I'm assuming this runs machinery.

4.2aH = 4.2 amps for 1 hour. Or 1 amp for 4.2 hours. In theory; it may not be capable of having 4.2 amps drawn from it.

That's pretty cool but 4.2aH isn't even close to being able to power something like a laptop. Will be pretty damn cool for small electronics like iPods and cell phones.
