:O Haha that is pretty awesome. So you get the laugh and in turn it hurts their score.DreadLord1337 said:No, they count as suicides for whomever they land on.

So whats the death message when you kill them?
It's ping lag; I've already tried everything you listed, and some other things (I even went as far as setting up a DMZ on my router). Appearently it tends to affect certain users with wireless internet, meaning it affects thousands of players and is completely EA's fault. My dad and I both share the same connection, only his computer is connected to our modem via wire. BF2 works flawlessly on his machine, while I get horrible lag spikes on mine. All other internet games work fine.john3571000 said:is it video or ping lag
If it's the former, defrag fully
If it's ping related manually update punkbuster, type pb_sleep 500 followed by pb_writecfg in the console, rename the .exe and stop the wirelesszeroconfig in services.msc
that might help and they are all reversable if not
worth a try
also run a tracert just to see that it isnt a problem with your connection

I can't get a wired connection down to my computer, but I do plan on temporarily moving my comp upstairs to see if BF2 still lags on my comp with a wired connection. If anyone is interested, I'll post the results.

anyone ?
who said:i have the same problem gorgon
and im really annoyed by the constant server crashing. i get through maybe two maps, dalian plant and then dragon valley
then the server crashes and its back to dalian again....
ive had enough of playing dalian plant . WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO FIX THIS???
until they do im no longer playing bf2, its just boring playing the same maps over and over again because the servers keep crashing.
apart from the constant server crashing and the lame server browser problems the ideas in the new patch (vehicle drops and heli falling out of sky) are good.
i still cant be arsed playing the same maps over and over though!
You have ridiculously bad luck if that's really the case. In my 140 hours of BF2 I've had one server crash on me, and not in 1.3. I've been playing my usual 24/7 Sharqi/Karkand servers just as much as usual without a single crash.
who said:how many people can connect to the severs you play on?
who said:and i know im not the only one experiencing repeated sever crashing, nearly everyone online playing atm seems to be complaining about it, but only after the 1.3 patch
