If you're buying anything at all (since you seem to be, unless you're borrowing or something) and if you have the money, you might as well just go to extra length and get a basic mobo with AGP, or even better PCI Express to be way ahead, and then get a nice video card.

true, but then he would be wasting more money. Plus im not sure if he knows how to install a mobo...
