Beta version of SDK on Steam now!

A beta version of the Source SDK is now available through Steam. To access it, add -beta sdk to your Steam shortcut when you next launch it.

This update allows the creation of HDR maps, includes a new version of the Hammer level editor, and contains many post-Day of Defeat: Source code fixes.

Ok thats not fair, I know there is anouther thread because I myself submited that news item to the hl2.net team and also this thread was created before it.

There are quite a few bugs.

That's why they added this page though. That's the idea behind a beta test.

Yay, autosave in Hammer. That's going to save my life. Models in the 2d view are neat too.
