Bit of a problem

I have it preloaded but I have no credit card and no DVD drive. I'm ready to go get my hands on a retail box now but i need to know if there is a cd version.

well yeah - but why did you bother preloading then, if you buy it retail you still have to install the thing properly. It's a myth that the code in the box will let you just continue on unfortunately

Thanks for the reply. Um...I preloaded it because i couldn't help myself. If your right about there is a multiple cd version like hl2 then thats great news for me. But I can't find anything that says there is a cd version. Wikipedia says just steam and dvd.

really? I would be shocked if there wasn't a cd version - problem is valve havent told us anything about the retail version at all instead focusing on steam
again you can be pleasantly surprised at what you can learn from the local shop
