Ok, so what if his has been asked already, but i gotta make sure.

Will Gordon ever go back to the ruins or crater or whatever the nuke left of Black Mesa?

And encounter some new freaks or whatever...

There will be a presequel to Half-Life where we play as a laboratory rat. Laidlaw confirmed this.

There wouldnt be anything left after an A-Bomb not much anyway.

Do you mean Portal? Where he said that?

Return to Black Mesa, NM is stupid idea.

It was a joke...or was it?

I don't think he'd go back there unless he wanted extremley critical radiation posioning.

it would be really cool, if we could visit it again. Unfortunately, we are in EUROPE, and that facility is in New Mexico..right?

well, he doesn't have the helmet...

Walking on a ledge half a feet from the Citadel's over-loading power core didn't seem to bother him much. Helmet extends from inside the suit says some, I buy it.

Well HOW did we get from New Mexico TO Europe anyway?
Gman will take care of that.

And he has the helm.
It sorta comes up, when the suit finds radioactive or hazardous environments.

Gordon is worse than the Combine. First Black Mesa (and Xen), then City 17...what's next?

Although, even if he did go back, there wouldn't be much left but a few hundred crispy scientist skeletons.

i would think more of a crater. i mean it is an a-bomb....no skeletons would "survive" that. not that decomposing adds to it after 20 years.

the bomb was made by the people who did the harzard suit
i had a screeny from op4 when you disable the bomb, it says its a "Mark IV" or whatever model. i cudnt help but laugh and think "so they do bombs too"

If it's a MKIV, then that doesn't mean it was made by the same people who did the HEV suit. It means that it's the 5th model of the bomb in question.

Congrulations Sherlock, another case solved!

"Hey look, there's a radioactive pit in the middle of the desert, wanna build a secret lab there?"

....yah, not likely.

You'd be surprised. People keep building their secret labs over interdimensional portals into netherworlds, tiberium fields, etc.

It is the place that the rift is strongest, maybe the only place the Combine can come through in later episodes so they have to be stopped at the place or a receiver for the satellite placed around there

But they were, you know, studying tiberium.

just realized, those lazy bungie developers put helmets on their soldiers so that they dont need to worry bout lots of voice acting..haha..althought its not really true

Dude, you're thinking about housing projects.

I have no examples!

:(

Every facility I looked up had the horrible weird-shit inflincted upon it because it was a facility, or nothing really weird-shit happened to them.

I couldn't even find one that was made on an inter-dimensional portal to a netherworld! I thought one of those would be a given! :(

Doubt in BM's return I do...

Hoth, wierd base on the middle of a frosty land?

Was "Hoth" in Star Wars?
That's not a very good example.

And it's just a frosty planet.

Were talking about radioactive pits and inter-dimensional rifts, that spit out evil alien creatures.

Cardiff is set on top of a rift in the time/space-continuum.

...Dr Who is based on real British history, right?

So the Daleks are real? #runs away#

The evil politicians who gas their cabinet and make faces at the US president surely are.
