Blue error message screen

In level 6 of Halfilfe 2 I get a blue error message when I past the flames with the burnt zombies. It says I have to change/update my driver. What do I do???

sounds like tis over heating maybe! or your drivers are bad. Could try changing them, but maybe you should try turning down your settings, and telling us your specs.

If it happened once, Hectic is probably on target with the heating. If it happens at the same place every time, I'd guess its corrupt HL2 data. Seems doubtfull its really a driver issue considering you got that far.. but make sure you're running the latest just in case.

You could also post up the error message, I'm assuming it's a blue screen error. If so, there should be a 'STOP 00000000AF' type message in the error text. Post that here if you can so we can narrow it down.

I used to have that problem when I changed from Catalyst to Omega drivers and then back.. I didn't clean out the Omega's completely.. the blue screen is a BAD error message.. I think its usually more than just not having updated drivers. You may have remenants of an old driver from a previous video card, or something else.

lol. So it does! I never checked out its advanced functions before.
I really dont know why I was thinking '1F' instead of 'AF'
