:imu: Hey guys, i just finished getting a close look into the BMRF's inbound map, it kinda looks cool, i'm thinking about making the Sector C's map too, but that depends on you guys, if you like this, vote for it and i'll do the rest.
remember, this is an amateur's job, without any wierd programs used, i just captured screenshots and worked on them in photoshop, i spent a lot of energy on it so plz, be respectful. thank you, later.

PS: if you're using a 56k modem, i suggest you open the first file, it'll load faster.

Yeah, its great! Do you work for Black Mesa Source team ? :)

thanks, but no, this is an amateur job, i just love the whole half-life thing, the cool thing is, if you look at the map, you'll see that the sector barney is going to get off later in HL:BS is empty. i think valve has a big, detailed map of the whole thing, i'm thinking on e-mailing them to see if there is such a thing and if they want to release it, but hey, these are just thoughts, untill i'm sure i'm not the only one intrested. thanks again.

Cool. There's also a map of the layout of the entire transit system in Blue Shift.

Es troo. When you're on the platform after getting yo shit, that scientist goes 'yo, the trains are late so you'd better take the maintenance access'. On that platform, there's a map showing all the transit routes (I think that's where it is anyway).

higher resolution

ok, sure, this is the highest resolution i could attach here, if you want higher resolution, i should e-mail it to you, but belive me, this is good enough.

EDIT: skuldodds, i've seen that, but it doesn't give you information about facilities, floors, and stuff like that. i'll probably post a poll in the up coming days to see if anyone is intrested so that i could send an e-mail to valve to see if i could get a complete map or something, ( wow, what did i just say?! )

Its better. I see soda-soda automats ;)

I don't get it, am I missing something? This is just a cluster of overview map shots... Did you remake the Inbound chapter?

I'm confused as to why someone asked if you worked for the BMS team... What does this have to do with anything?

Looking pretty good.

I'd suggest using imageshack.us to host larger pictures, since the attachment limits here are smaall

Yeah me too... I'm really confused on this one... did you remake the entire thing in source, or just fly up really high and take a screen.. or what?

Sorry, it was only joke...

Oh... A cruel joke then. I don't go in HL2 general discussion often and I didn't know you guys were that harsh in here.

GTFO numbers.

:p

hehe, everytime i see samon's name as the one who has the last post, i kinda have this fear that the thread is closed... but he's so cool, it's good to have someone to care about the rules...
this isn't a remake, it's just flying high in the sky, like one said, but hey, no one has done that, right? i think it's still cool, i'll probably make the same thing for sector c.

it's nothing that much special for those who don't like half-life 1 too much, this is just the beginning, i'll get the blue-shift and op4 tram maps too and i'll add it to this, that way, it'll be a nearly complete map of BMRF's transit system.

Actually it's not flying high above, it's using the overview command.

Mechagodzilla kindly presented BM:S with a complete (nice high res) overhead image of the facility, he still needs to add Blue Shift and some Opposing Force sections though
