Huh? What's all this? You must think I'm suggesting you buy huge ear-cup headphones or something.

Perhaps I should explain further. You can still get small headphones that aren't buds. They are called IEM. In-Ear-Monitors. In fact they are even smaller than iPod headphones. Even a $30 pair of Sony IEMs are MILES better than iPod headphones, with better outside noise cancellation, and incredible bass response. You have no idea how good headphones can sound until you try these.

I've never known them to be called "ear plugs", but whatever, in that case. Most people don't know the difference so I don't want to assume. Headphones are headphones, right?
