Breakable line?

As all of you i've been analyzing Half Life 2 physics capabilities and i am wondering if a rope can be broke in Source? I think yes because i think i've seen a breaking power line in the game(havent finished it yet, going slowly and exploring every little detail) but i'm not sure. After all so far i couldn't actually break one myself. If it is possible in game then just say yes.. :E

you can script it, yes
but cables arent able to break on their own.

the engine is capable of it yes...

is it in the game? to an extent...

I think normally, they only can break at the ends where their attached.

You can set cable points in hammer to have break strengths like any other physics entity, the rope just flops down and hangs from the other point, unless you break that to.
