Breen and the Advisor pod

So, presuming that Dr. Breen is the man behind the err...pod in the control room that would mean he is now among the Advisor elite. This got me thinking. Remember at the beginning where Gordon gets a flash-back with Dr. Breen talking on the Citadel screen. I'm wondering, since the Advisors have telepathic abilities, if Breen was taunting Gordon through his mind.

Maybe that's a bit too complex and not what Valve was aiming for. Anyway, there's my theory. Feel free to hack it to pieces.

I think the purpose behind the scene at the beginning with the Breen screen was to set up the premise of Episode 1. Gordon just delivered a critical blow to the Citadel, and ultimately set about a chain of events that would effectively wipe out City 17. Even some of the citizens remaining in the City aren't that chuffed about this turn of events.

It was definately an 'Episode' thing. You know, you get that 'previously on' when they begin. Well, I felt this was Episode 1's. It was merely Gordons thoughts during his time in stasis - the last thing he saw was a huge explosion, which he triggered in an attempt to stop Breen - but what about Alyx? She was right in front of it, she could have died due to Gordons actions.

Breen was right, Gordon is reckless, and Gordon knows it.
I certainly don't think it was Breen, especially since Gordon was locked away in stasis and Breen was probably still under-going the host body procedure. Whats more, they probably can't chew their way into someones mind who isn't in close proximity.
