Bug? Can't get into mines - please help

Okay, I'm in Ravenholm and the "Father" has just told me to run through the gate and into the mines while he holds up the chain link fence door.

I do as he says and run up the hill, open a door and enter a small room covered with graffitti. I turn right and there's a mural painted on the left with a soldier sitting holding a baby. To the right, there's a door, but it will not open.

There seems to be some graphical problems here, too, as to the right of the door, where there should be a wall, I can see back out into the cemetary.

At this point, I'm totally stuck. I can't open the door that seems to be the key to the mines, and I have no idea what to do next. It seems like some sort of bug because all the walkthroughs I've seen suggest that it's just a matter of running under the fence and "into the mines." Definitely not that easy for me.

Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

Diss, was there ever a loading screen before you go up to the door. because if it didn't load then something wrong. I realised what you were talking about when i try to figure out where you were and i used noclip and saw that wall that you can see through into the cemetary. SO i believ it did not load the section.I sugest you go back to a previous saved game

Thanks for all the suggestions. No, there wasn't a loading screen when I went to the door. Is the hole supposed to be inside the door, or is it somewhere on the grounds?

I'll try another saved game, as you suggest. Thanks...

Don't listen to Deemo, he was talking about what is on the other side of that door.

well, it should load before you enter that site, then go down to the big hole. be careful not to fall... one mistake ur dead.
