This is a total conversion mod of HL2's Single Player, we have a decent size team of Concept Artists, Modelers, Programmers, Sound Designers and others of different talents. Here is the story:

Dan Heckrich, the great grandfather of Elijah Heckrich who is now the Mayor of Crayville
built the village of Crayville during the Civil War as a place of retreat for the soldiers after the war and for people who did not care for the bigger cities and honking horns of it’s impatient people.

Shortly after the city was constructed and the Civil War started to calm down after many years of bloodshed an
Asylum was ordered built mainly because of the many soldiers who may suffer from nervous breakdowns and acts of craziness. This was something that needed to be done so Dan called upon a British Architect by the name of Jordon Floyd to plan out and build the Asylum so the insane people could be taken care of. 1885 came and the Asylum stood tall and was ready to receive patients when they needed to be taken to the Asylum for treatment.

Shortly after the Asylum was built, Dan appointed Justin Fallwood to become the director of the Facility under contract that he would not allow anything bad to happen to the patients while they were there getting treated for their mental illness.

Two years passed and everything inside the asylum was going great until Dan Heckrich was found dead with a gunshot
wound in the forehead in his home that is now a sinking ruin in the mud, no one knew who killed him and why but there was motive behind it somewhere. Justin was shaken to hear that Dan’s body was found but showed no proof of killing him. A few years later the contract to the Asylum had expired, and the Asylum became a mentally unhealthy place to be.
The rooms filled up quick because of Justin placing orders to have more patients taken from bigger facilities and checked
in to Crayville so treatment could administered more one on one and longer than larger Asylum’s would provide.

After a while Justin started becoming aggressive towards the staff and the patients for no apparent reason people assumed he was going crazy because of the constant growing number of patients to help manage.

Things went to hell and patients started killing each other and the staff. He watched as patients stabbed each
other right in front of his face. The Asylum started to become a place of torture soon after a rumor was released that
some type of dark force was controlling Justin, causing him to start loving the bloodshed.

He started building various torture devices to use on the patients if his orders were not followed. 1940 came around and Justin became 73, several months after his birthday he was caught allowing this to happen to the patients and he was ordered to be executed by hanging and buried where no one would find him again.

It is now 2010; several years have passed since the bloodshed that went on in the Asylum, which has been closed to the public for years now. But some strange things started happening in 2008, people of Crayville started disappearing at night dropping the village’s population at a staggering rate in just days. The Asylum appeared to be operating again, but not normally as it should. Malicious Undead sounding screeches and screams started to light up the night in fear, as if someone had reanimated these crazy tortured people.

With quick action Elijah Heckrich, the mayor of Crayville called Ashlyn Tanneth to come investigate this strange problem (More on Ashlyn below) what will she find? How will she handle it? It is up to the player to find out.
