im trying to do the dynamic light tutorial but as soon as i parent the keyframe rope to the prop_pysics_override the rope shoots off at a weird angle in the game, what silly little tick box is unchecked or something stupid that i am missing can any one help me please its doin my head in

slack should be zero, and auto-resize should be unchecked iirc

nope neither were the problem allthough i did have the slack at 25 and thanks for the info i will have a better title nxt time the rope appears in game then i put the lamp in and the rope is still there and the lamp falls on the floor as it should but as soon as i parent it to the rope the rope shoots of at a dodgy angleand it does it with or without the constraint holdin the lamp up plz someone out there help me
