Can Humans Tell The Future?

Don't confuse discovery with invention, time & space are not things man invented.

I can predict the future to a certain degree.

The probability of it being correct drops off as the length of time passes.

Just like the weather man tells us it's gonna be raining.

Yeah but my dad could beat up your dad, did you see that coming?

I believe that humans might be able to see the future sometimes in dreams or as intuition - I've had numerous experiences with this myself, enough to give me reason to believe it - but I don't think it's a talent anyone can develop other than a very very very small minority of people.

Ah, you are in competition with the MET office, I presume? But their supercomputers do not compare with your mighty neurons, and their detection methods do not compare with your extra-sensory perception, am I right?

Educated guesses, based on experience perhaps? :)

I see this thread eventually slowing and finally dying, followed by sinking into the archive of past threads.

Theory Proved.

If Short Recoil wrote an autobiography, I'd buy everyone a copy for Christmas.

Well, if Hari Sheldon taught us anything, then if you gather a large enough group of people, then their behaviour can be modeled after large clouds of gas and supsceptible to relatavistic behaviours. Hence, pyschohistory.

Oh wait. That was a BOOK.

But no, I do not think so. Humans are entirely too wonderful/wierd/unpredictable to ever know what we are going to do.

Its known as coincidence.
