The ending of the japanese version of The Grudge?

Because when you find out that the ghost is her, what does that mean exactly? Is she the ghost? Or does every victim see themselves as the wife when they're about to be killed?

Or is it that the wife wasn't actually the ghost doing all the killing. Because at the end when her voice clears up, it doesnt sound scary or aggressive, it sounds like she's begging for help.

If anyone could explain this to me that would really help.

Japanese are better at grotesque horror movie than hollywood. Realistic Foreign movies are ten times better than hollywood movies. Every foreign war movies I seen were way better than saving private riyan.

Oh by the way about the Grudge I got to see the japanese version. Anyways it probably she is a ghost and not realizing it!!
