Can you explain some things?

Hey. I want to buy this game, but I want all the mods too.
I've alread read that Natural Selection is wanting to charge to get that mod, but I want DOD:source, HL:source, and all that other awesome stuff. CS:source comes with the box game, but it doesn't say anything about DOD. If I buy through Steam I have to download everthing which is going to be a huge pain in the butt because it's so big. I don't really want to pay $80 for the huge collectors edition on the shelf, I don't need their shirts and junk. What should I do?

There is nothing to do I think just buy the collector's edition...

Or just buy through steam. I mean its not that bad a download if you have broadband, which im assuming you do because otherwise cs:s and dod:s are gonna be reeeeaaaallly laggy. Just leave it downloading overnight.
