Can you Make Crosshair Stand Out more?!?!

Is there a way to make the crosshair darker/brighter/thicker....something that will be more visible?

I am playing at 1920 X 1080 resolution and the crosshair is all but invisible.

Well I play on 1024x768, and it's just fine, Shouldn't be invisable though.

Sure I could, but I would also be guessing that less of my bullets would hit their mark.

When I'm far away from enemies sometimes their head is barely bigger than the center dot of the crosshair and I try to sharpshoot head shots by placing the center dot right on their head. (I'm only near the beginning of the game and I just have the pistol.....no scoped guns yet.)

but isn't that part of the fun, never really knowing where you're actually aiming at. too much certainty takes away the adventure! or better yet, you could just barge into the enemies and shoot at close distance -even more adventurous!

Well there is certainly a good argument for what you are saying here as well, but for now anyway I'm trying to use all the tools I can to help me be more accurate.

Yes, it did. If you follow that link I gave you can choose whichever crosshair you personally like. I picked the one that is bascially the same as the default crosshair but it is thicker...."bolded" where I can see it better against the background.
