cant evin read font

so i got half life 2, downloaded it and everything with no problems. but when i get to opening menu it looks like someone took an axe to a wire frame.

any idea how to fix this

what're your PC's specs, looks like your graphics card is kaput

Yah, definitely graphics card. Fonts rendering with random colors, textures all the same... graphics card. Replace.
