Can't get console to work

It's like really weird.

I have done the whole "Add -console in Launch Options" and also tried the "Developers Console" in advanced keyboard options.

But nothing works for me.

The console shows up when I start the game. Then I exit the console in order to load a game.

And when I try to reopen the console with the key to the left of "1", nothing happends. I have tried to set the console to a different key in the .cfg file, but with no luck.

Have you tried the advanced options on the keyboard options cause there's an option for the console there.

As I said in my initial post, yes.

and also tried the "Developers Console" in advanced keyboard options.

If you can't get that console up intially at the start of a game as in the screenshot, then edit the .cfg file to F2 or whatever your preference is and try that. Seems to be just that key isn't acceptable for your elitist computer!
