Cant play CZ online! Stops at "Prechathing resourses"

You're probably downloading the new update, this is why a lot of people dislike steam, the first time you run it, it usually crashes/freezes because steam is still updating the game.

Check the Steam monitor, you should see CZ updating, if not, delete the CZ cache and download it again.

I also had this problem today when I just installed CZ. After about 3 restarts it finaly worked.

Never seen this ever happen...Some people need to upgrade there pc's if this is happening.

I had this problem, it would load fully for one server, but when reconnecting or changing server it would stop at precaching. Only rebooting would solve this problem..

Until i updated my Routers firmware and now it works everytime.

My router is a Linksys BEFSR41.

I had the same problem...It worked after I reinstalled CZ.
