Can't play multiplayer mods! Needs help!

I need help here.

I can't play mods in multiplayer, whenever I join any server in multiplayer mods, it auto exits and return to windows.

Can anyone help?

Nope. I never installed Deathmatch. Is that a problem to it?

Multiplayer games would be built of DM rather than HL2 itself more than likely.
