ok i beat the game and i want t format my pc but i want to keep the chapters so i dont have to do it all over again.
does anyone know a way on hoe to keep them??
or if its even possible??

there is a cheat

sv_unlockedchapters 15

this will unlock all the chapters

look at CONFIG.CFG in your half-life 2 configuration folder. there seems to be a setting in there: sv_unlockedchapters "14"

i haven't tested it, but i'd imagine that if you set a new installation to 14, it'll unlock the chapters.
