Cheat Mode

How do I enable it?

go into options, keyboard, advanced.
Make sure console is enabled.

Go into the game, press "~", the console appears.
Type: "sv_cheats 1" press enter
Cheats are on
Press "~"
Console closed.


Godmode: Open console, "god"
give everything + some ammo: "impulse 101"

You have to type in your cheat after sv_cheats 1. You're not inept to do a google search I'm sure, but I'll give you some anyways.

noclip -- Fly around map
notarget -- Enemies don't know you're there
impulse 101 -- All weapons
buddha -- Health never depletes completely
god -- Health does not deplete

That's all I ever use, so all I remember.

EDIT: Oh, Half-Life 1? I think they're pretty much the same codes, but Google it if none of these do work.

if its half life one, you need to enable the cheat mode, then load a fresh map before the cheats work

So I have to type in sv_cheats 1 then give weapon_shotgun?

because everytime I do that it says command give not found or something like that
