the countess asks you to find out who stole her painting and i'm stumped---

ive found chanels painting stuff and the dodgy painting in the west tower---

can anyone help me with what to do next?

Go into the dining hall and look for some spilt paint on the carpet.

Go into the black womans room (forgot her name, she is one of the suspects) and snoop around, you'll find something. Also go into the west tower and you'll find painting gear. With those three clues you can accuse her and get yourself an item that can be used to enchant one of your items.

Am I not suppost to be able to interact with the clues? I can put my mouse on them, but clicking them does nothing. I've found the weird painting in the gaurd tower, and stain, but can't find anything else in the black chick's room... if that's where it's at.

You must have talked to suspects first, if your speechcraft is not high enough you may have to bribe them.
