Citadel Help - *spoilers*

Hokay, i've got to Breen, he is in the core ready to be transported, alyx is shouting at me to hurry up, time is running out. There are energy balls i can grab from up above, and i thought what i had to do is fire them into this core or inside the beam. but doesnt seem to work for me! i shoot into the beam they go straight through, i shoot the core which he is inside which is inside the beam, it hits it and bounces off. wtf do i shoot?! plz help :O thanks <3

shoot the protective shields, all of them (they circle around him)

I did this by accident.

I knew I had to shoot somwhere and I just shot everyehwere until I found it.

I shot towards the top of the column that he is rising in and the rings popped up and started spinning. There are some shield things guarding the rings and if you shoot all of them with the energy balls the shields will come off and the game ends.

You need be on the balcony outside the control room where Alyx is (on the other side of the glass). Just grab the energy balls and shoot them at the core, knocking the protective screens off. Just ignore the Combine rotocraft becuase you dont have much time to do it in.

Keep flinging them at the shields.
They'll eventually break apart. but you don't need to break all of them, As long as you get 3-10 IN the core it'll blow up.

er. You're supposed to be higher up.
