A while ago, Portal 2 received a major update which released a simple to use in-game map editor for free to anyone who owned the game on PC or Mac. The community's major gripe with the system? The lack of support for co-op maps. Now, Valve has officially announced that the Portal 2 DLC named "Perpetual Testing Initiative" is finally receiving support for co-op made maps. Don't have a buddy that you can play Portal 2 co-op with? Well now is your chance to make one!

Every owner of Portal 2 also received a 75% off coupon which is now available in their Steam inventory, which is intended to help introduce more players to the game. Also mentioned is the inclusion of a 'Quick Play' feature that automatically assembles a play list of some of the highest rated maps available in the Steam Workshop. The update was just released on Steam so feel free to check it out.

Maybe this will resurrect PeTI.

Though it is already shit because of all the rollercoaster maps, cheap deaths and horrid design.

A person I gifted Portal 2 to did receive a coupon.
