just wondering what you thought of that free game that was on steam ages ago, codename: gordon. I liked it, I just didnt like that there was no way of saving

About last year it came free with Half Life 2, I think. Well for me it did.

Its a 2d version of Half Life 2, but different levels.

It's a fun little game 2D based off of the HL2 pre-release vids. Worth playing.

I remember that it was good practise for doing the "baseball" trick on headcrabs, so they can't hit you when they leap, but otherwise, ti's theres not much to say about it.

I found it in seconds on steam.. just typed gordon into the search bar, first result..

V-Man's Opinion on Codename Gordon

I think it's a pretty cool game but it needs a save feature, and I had to play the game twice because the final boss was so dang hard!

Also the ending was kinda lame.

It's impossible to play on a laptop, unless you practice.

So, let me get this straight...the game finishes when the player gets bored and (presumably) commits suicide by jumping down a hole?

Or did I do something wrong?

Does something different happen if you just stand motionless for a long time?
