The soldiers are also easy to defeat because they fire in bursts. Imagine if all the soldiers would shoot at you non-stop...

I also stumbled upon a certain thing when mapping. Combine soldiers can be divided into squads. Squads share info on enemies, attack in turns, i.e. work as a group. I say AI is there, all it requires is a good coder to bring it up.


Ya, I was looking at the code; they are squadified. Quite fun.

If you press C on the ground, they're put there temporarily. Strange, but when I press C on a person he stays there, until I recall him.

In the leak's "Hazard Course" (training level) you could control your squad in every way. I don't understand what happened to that? Like I said, the AI is great, but it's coded wrong.
 
Do you recall them only after you move a few feet or a few seconds?

Like I said they stay, but only for about a minute before coming for me.
 
Maybe I might have a bug of some sort. I have to block their way with the gravity gun to prevent harm to them.

But since most of Anti-Citizen One and Follow Freeman took place in big open fields trying that would be useless.
