Hello!

Lately, I?ve been creating maps for CSS. Recently, I created on which was not that large at all, however, upon compiling, it takes at least 15 minutes. Now, I was told that it is a good idea to compile and compile often, but its kind of annoying to have to wait 15 minutes to see how the lighting effects look or if they worked at all.
Now? I understand the cordoning tool and have been using it? a lot, however, my question is this:

Is there another way to steam line the whole compiling process while still building a map, or am I being to impatient?

Thanks

It's important to finish the basics of your map before you begin detailing it. That means all the foundational geometry. Either play it in fullbright or put in a few lights, and work on that at first.

The speed of your CPU and the amount of lights in your map are the major factors in compile time.

Though if you want to view how it will look in full final form, perhaps you could copy paste the part you are interested into a new blank map and just compile that on its own.
