Compiling Or Map Problem Help Plz

I had a few maps compiled as test maps, then I tried to make a map and i hit f9 to compile it.I named it and hit ok on normal compiling. It proceeded with the window that pops up and brang up my steam menu and I proceeded to start Counter Strike and do new game to play the map. But the problem is the map isn't there. Can someone help me?

you've set up your paths incorrectly in hammer options?

I didnt change anything and some maps worked before but now none of my new ones that i make work
