I'm just wondering how I should bind a button so I can toggle the console on & off. Before all the strange updates, tilde used to work perfectly (~) but hey not anymore. The console is activated in the options menu but the European button for ~ is not a valid bind anymore. Not even since they fixed TAB to show scores. Right now, the only way I know to bring up the console without having a bind is by adding "-console" to the CS:S shortcut.
I've tried:
bind F3 "console"
bind F3 "-console"
bind F3 "+console"
bind F3 "+showconsole" (not certain on the + though)
But no avail. I reckon there must be a bind for it since ~ & Ö for us Europeans did work before & since there is a command called "hideconsole", there must be an opposite somewhere too
Anyone have any suggestions? Weird thing is, that I couldn't find it in any of the *.cfg files either.
I'd appreciate it if anyone from either EU or U.S. could check their bind for their console key
Edit: Oh and as usual, if anyone know how to turn off the floating smoke clouds on dust, plz do tell.
