I am trying to reinstall Counter Strike Source....I got the package that comes with CSS, DOD, and Half life 2 deathmatch. When I try to reinstall it gets part way through installing with the first CD and then it says that the CSS.cab file is corrupt and it quits that installation. Is there any way besides buying a new copy of the game that I can get a copy of this that would work???

Thnx for your help :)

Well you have to have a high speed net connection if you're playing CS, so you can download the game. Just log onto your Steam account, right click on CS:S and click "Update Game" or something similar to that. Then it will take awhile, but install the whole game. You don't need the CD to play.

well im reinstalling after uninstalling

im reinstalling the game after uninstalling it so i cannot click update game

Here's the FAQ, scroll down until you see the validation list. Click the game you want checked for errors.

Well, you can install games over Steam ;)
Just double-click on the transparent title of the game you want to install and it should start downloading.
