Counter Strike Source Beta.

Day of Defeat just got a beta update that incorporated steam works and tech from the orange box source engine.

I want to assume Counter strike is getting this treatment as well? I dont think I have heard of anything of the sort happening ( short of some one once upon a time mentioning counter strike getting achievements ). The only reason i have to believe such things are in the future is that under servers in steam, you can choose CSS:beta, granted there are no servers yet.. it is there...

so? is this happening, does any one truly know yet or what, because I would love to have achievements and that awesome bluer effect in css

There's a Counter Strike Source Beta in my Game list in the server browser.
