Alright, I have a fairly high-end computer, so I deffinetly know it can handle a wide draw distance in CS 1.6. I know it can go higher since I see people shooting at things that arent in my draw distance.

How the heck do you increase the draw distance?

cs 1.6 has a draw distance umm ive never noticed that

same, there is no draw distance in 1.6

ur probs just watching exceptionally 1337 ppl playing who are seeing a few pixels

if not

record a demo.... or take screenshots

to make a demo

record demoname
soo

record amfg1337megg woudl record to amfg1337megg.dem :)

Yes... I know how to make demos. I've been playing CS for more than 3 years.
-.-
Yes, there is a draw distance, you've probably just never played in a wideopen enough map to see it. No their not just aiming at a few pixels because I spec them doing it all the time, and I see nothing at all.

Heres an example of my draw distance:
http://www.ilrpg.com/~whitezero/draw.jpg (Before you ask, yes, I use Cell Shaded models)
As you can see, only a clip of that ramp is showing that my crosshair is on in the first picture. When I move up a few feet, more of it appears in the second picture.

This is what i wanted to say before the forums big bang :

Yes there is a draw distance, it's usually set in the map itself but yours seem very near. You could try c_maxdistance 200 (I think it's the default, you could try a higher value).

I can't test it since I uninstalled CS Monday, I played for 4 years but there are too much cheaters, time to play another game.

There are a ton of HL tweak guides on the net. I'm sure at LEAST one covers draw distance.

You could delete the config.cfg, you'd have to bind all your keys again but at least the drawdistance should be set back to default.

I wish they'd put aa and fsaa in cs1.6

I hate how the ground blurs, my pc can cope with 16x on css, so I want it on cs1.6 to.

cs is an old game lol but it would be cool with AA and AF support

it has aa and af support.. you just have to force it on in your gfx card settings.
